The Red Bull Air Race was founded in 2003 and hosted 94 championship series races around the globe before Red Bull withdrew its support in 2019. It attracted over 24 million live spectators and during its 14 years of operations, its broadcast product was viewed by an audience of over 230 million in 187 countries.
Crowds in excess of 1 million attended the Red Bull Air Races in Rio and Barcelona making them some of the largest live sporting events in the World.
